Payne, age 54, of 47310 Paradise Lane, Norwood died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle.Mr. Payne was a native of Randolph County.He is survived by his wife, Marilynn Farlow Payne; mother, Louise Payne of Asheboro; sister, Joy Taylor and her husband Bill of Cary; nephew, Jason Taylor and his wife Misha of Athens, GA; great nephew, Oren Taylor of Athens, GA; niece, Morgan Taylor and her husband Keith Harrington of Charlottesville, VA; great niece, Ryleigh Harrington of Charlottesville, VA.The family will receive friends Friday, July 24, 2009 from 2:45 - 3:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at 4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Moore officiating.
