Patty Hicks Williamson, age 76, of 5065 Old Coleridge Rd., Ramseur died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Siler City Care & Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Concord United Methodist Church, 6009 Concord Church Rd., Ramseur, NC with Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Deep River Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Williamson was born In Ramseur on July 15, 1935 to Guy N. and Estelle York Hicks. She was a graduate of Ramseur High School, was retired from Ramtex, and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. Patty was preceded in death by her father, her sister Barbara Harris and her grandson Jason Carter. She is survived by her husband, Floyd U. Williamson; daughters, Ellen (Janie) Williamson of Ramseur, NC, Julie W. Carter and her husband Jimmy of Erect, NC; son, Jeffrey F. Williamson of Coleridge, NC; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother, Estelle York Hicks of Ramseur, NC; brothers, Jim Hicks of Ramseur, NC, Butch Hicks of Rhode Island; and sister, Shirley H. Mitchell of Ramseur, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
