Patty Cox Fowler

Patty Cox Fowler, age 81, of Asheboro died Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Universal Health Care of Ramseur. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Falls Baptist Church, 1332 Old Liberty Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Gerald Hussey officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Fowler was born in Ramseur on July 10, 1933 to Betuel Clarkston and Etta Allen Cox. She was retired from Kayser-Roth and was a member of Central Falls Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband James "Jimmy" Fowler and 7 siblings. Patty enjoyed working in her yard. She is survived by her sons, Keith Fowler and wife Leigh Ann, James Kenneth Fowler and wife Lynn all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Rachel Bowman and husband James of Asheboro, Megan Williamson and husband Cody of Asheboro, Kalin Fowler and wife Amanda of Kernersville, Keleigh Fowler of Asheboro, great granddaughter, Sydney Bowman of Asheboro; and sisters, Flossie Cox of Ramseur, and Margaret Williamson of High Point. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at the home of Keith and Leigh Ann Fowler, 212 McKnight St., Asheboro.
