Pattie Cranford Scott

Pattie Cranford Scott, age 91, of 2119 South Fayetteville St., Asheboro died Monday, December 17, 2007 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Lay Speaker Peggy Woodruff and Dr. Mark J. Key officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Mrs. Scott was a native of Rowan County, NC and was a retired Cafeteria Manager with the Asheboro City and Randolph County School systems. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Christian Homemakers, was the founding member of Prayer Group Circle #1 and was a member of the Wednesday Morning Prayer Group. She was a member of the South Gate Garden Club and was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Ray Scott. She is survived by one son, Ellis Ray Scott, Jr. of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
