Patsy Lynn Dorsett Perrington, age 64, of Asheboro died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House.
Mrs. Perrington was born March 1, 1950 in Randolph County to Earl and Elizabeth Dorsett. She was formerly employed by the Randolph County Prison and attended Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. Patsy had a special way of caring deeply for her family and friends and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved going on cruises, going to grandchildren's ball games and bowled on the "Thursday Night League". In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Biggs formerly of Greensboro.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck Perrington; daughter, Lynn Clapp and husband Kevin of Seagrove; grandchildren, Hannah Clapp and Eli Clapp of Seagrove; sisters, Brenda Jarrell and husband Kenneth of Asheboro, Melinda Eunice of Asheboro, Cherie Davis and husband Roger of Asheboro, Annette Henson and husband Randy of Franklinville, Bonnie Dunn of Asheboro and her pets, J.J., Izaak, Gizmo, Peaches, Dusty and Simba.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 12-1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
Even though she will be missed greatly, while she was here on earth she touched so many peoples' lives in such a special way that in our hearts she will forever live.
