Patsy Fruitt

Patsy W. Fruitt went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Patsy was born in Carthage, NC on January 5, 1944. She retired from Commonwealth Hosiery Mill.in Randleman. She enjoyed decorating her yard for the holidays to spread joy and happiness to others. Patsy is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Whittington, mother, Hazel Whittington, brothers, Harry and Jerry Whittington; and her nephew John Idol.

She is survived by her daughter: Sylvia Roberts and husband Mark of Asheboro; granddaughter, Tina Jones and husband Tony of Madison; sister, Mary Idol of Randleman; brothers, Gene Whittington and wife Linda of Franklinville, and Dwight Whittington and wife Jenny of Franklinville; half-sister, Frances Higby and husband Chuck of Ellerbe; several nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Family will receive friends following the graveside service.
