Patrick (Pat) Allen Henry

Mr. Patrick Allen (Pat) Henry, age 75 of Asheboro passed away at his home on Friday, April 21,2023.  Pat was born in Anson County on March 5, 1948 to Patrick and Pauline Henry.

Pat graduated from Asheboro High School in 1967 and from Asheboro Commercial College in 1969.  He served his country in the 82^nd Airborne Division of the United States Army from 1969-1971.  Pat worked in the telephone industry for 42 years where he retired from Century Link as a sales manager in 2013.

Pat is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beckie Parks Henry; son David Parks Henry and wife Angelica of Whitsett NC.  Grandchildren Shai Tilman Henry, David Parks Henry II, Jozelyn Arianna Henry and Jayla Nashai Henry.  Mr. Henry is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Edythe Parks; brother Michael Henry and wife Diane and nephew Greg Henry.  Pat was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Leonard Parks.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday,2:00 pm, April 25, 2023  at the Pleasant Hill UMC, 1535 N. Moore Rd., Robbins NC with Rev. Mark Bean officiating.  Mr. Henry will lie in repose on Monday, April 24^th 2023 from 1:00-7:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
