Patricia H. Ziegfeld formerly of Punta Gorda, FL, Alexandria, VA, and Baltimore, MD, went to her eternal home on Friday, February 25, 2011. She was member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, Punta Gorda, FL. Preceding her in death were husband, Kenneth C. Ziegfeld, parents Clyde E. and Octa P. Heath, and brother Clyde E. Heath, Jr. While in Alexandria Pat was an active member of Alexandria Hospital's Board of Lady Managers and was selected to model at the Annual Fashion Show to raise funds for the hospital. For many years Pat was an active member of the Christian Women's' Club in Alexandria and Punta Gorda. Until health issues curtailed her activities, Pat was active in her church. She and her husband were avid golfers. Pat's outstanding Christian love and devotion to family will always provide many fond memories and shining examples for her family and friends. She will be missed by her daughter, Patti McCutchen (Asheboro), and son, Ken Ziegfeld and his wife Debbie (Fayetteville, GA); grandchildren Scott McCutchen and wife Leslie (Randleman, NC), Tim McCutchen and wife Kasey (Colorado Springs, CO), Julie McCutchen Beam and husband Scott (Toronto, Canada), Heather Ziegfeld (Fayetteville, GA), Ashley Ziegfeld (Fayetteville, GA), and great-grandchildren Ethan McCutchen, Eli McCutchen, and Erin McCutchen (Randleman, NC), and Addison and Emma Beam (Toronto, Canada). Also surviving are her sister- and brother-in-law Shirley and Jack Smith (Abington, MD), sister-in-law Virginia Heath (Towson, MD) and many other family members and friends. The family appreciates the dedicated care provided by Dr. Heather Spry, Andrea, and her caregivers at Universal Healthcare in Ramseur. Burial will be in Punta Gorda, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Randolph Pregnancy Care Center, 530 South Cox Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
