Patricia Ann Loflin

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Loflin, age 55, of Sophia died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point, NC. Patsy was born in Shelbyville, KY on October 9, 1959, the daughter of John Lee and Beverly Davis Coots. She is survived by her husband: Clifford Loflin; daughter: Rachel Loflin Maguire and her husband Chris of Durham; son: Daniel Wayne Loflin of Sophia; mother: Beverly Davis Coots of Shelbyville, KY; brother: John Coots and his wife Marcelline of Louisville, KY. Patsy was a native of Shelby County, KY. She grew up a Baptist and when she married Clifford became a Quaker then joined Marlboro Friends Meeting in Sophia. Patsy loved working on her dairy farm along side Clifford for 32 years. Patsy is preceded in death by her father and grandparents. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Marlboro Friends Meeting, 2668 Marlboro Church Road in Sophia with J.R. Snider and Rev. Ray Luther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial in the church Family Life Center.
