Patricia Brigman Hill

Patricia Brigman Hill, age 66, of 1435 Old Cox Rd, Asheboro died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mrs. Hill was born April 20, 1946 in Hoke County NC, the daughter of Julius Alex and Lily Jane (Woodell) Brigman. Retired from Goodyear, Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren, sitting outdoors and traveling to White Lake. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing bingo whenever she got the opportunity. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 32 years Calvin Hill, brothers; Curtis Baxley, L.D. Baxley, Paul Baxley, Marvin Brigman, Ed Brigman; and sisters; Margaret Elkins, and Clyde Baxley. She is survived by two sons: Eric Hill and wife, Donna of Asheboro, NC, and Jeff Sheppard of Shallotte, NC and two daughters: Sheri Hill of Asheboro, NC, and Kimberly Knox of Asheboro, NC, grandchildren: Ryan and Ross Hill, Robbie and Austyn Ratliff, Brandon and Zachary Davis, Chris and Natasha Sheppard, 5 great-granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, brother: Shelton Baxley of Beckley, VA, and sister: Catherine Rogers of Okeechobee, FL. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm prior to the funeral service at Center Cross Baptist Church, 1789 Center Cross Church Rd., Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow in the sanctuary at 2 pm with Rev. Scott Kidd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
