Pastor Larry Arnold Beaver

Pastor Larry Arnold Beaver, age 74, of 859 Liberty Hill Church Road, Mt. Gilead died Friday, August 10, 2012 following a brief illness at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte. Pastor Beaver was born September 4, 1937 at Rowan County, NC, the son of Charlie W and Elsie Childress Beaver. He had served as pastor of Long Hill Baptist Church for years.. He is survived by his wife of fifty years: Elizabeth Little Beaver of the home; two sons: John Mark Beaver and wife, Sandra of Mt. Gilead, Michael Ray Beaver and wife, Shannon of Seagrove; grandchildren: Ashlynn Beaver and Laura Beaver of Mt. Gilead, Savannah Beaver, Logann Beaver and Raegan Beaver of Seagrove; one sister: Helen Childers of Salisbury, NC and one brother: Charlie W. Beaver, Jr. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Long Hill Baptist Church, 637 Capelsie Road, Candor, NC; other times at the home. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Long Hill Baptist Church, with Pastors Mark Forrest, Brad Williams, Curtis Parker and Chip Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
