Pamela Ferrell Yates

Pamela Ferrell Yates, age 55, of Asheboro died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Back Creek Friends Meeting, 139 Back Creek Church Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Tom Barton officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Patty and Roger Hill, 3256 Old Lexington Rd., Asheboro. Mrs. Yates was born in Asheboro on May 18, 1957 to James and Jo Ann Stultz Ferrell. She was formerly employed with Banner Hosiery in Asheboro. In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her uncles Tommy Stultz and Gary Stultz and her aunt Linda Stultz King. She is survived by her husband, Larry Yates; daughters, Brandy Lee Comer of High Point, Sandy Davis and her husband Fareed Alkori of High Point; 4 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; stepsons, Rufus James Yates and his wife Beth of Asheboro, Brian Yates of Troy; sister, Patty Hill and her husband Roger of Asheboro; and several loving nieces and nephews. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Yates family.
