Ozell Kennedy Callicutt, age 87, of Asheboro died Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
Mrs. Callicutt was born May 11, 1930 in Surry County to Charlie and Adeline Needham.
She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Randolph Apparel and Stewart Furniture. Mrs. Callicutt was a loving and giving lady who tried to take care of others. She would sacrifice things for herself in order to give more to her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Callicutt, son, Ronald Kennedy, daughter, Deborah Law, granddaughter, Amy Sue Coble and four siblings.
She is survived by daughters, Patsy Thompson and husband Ronald of Asheboro, Gail Francisco and husband Tim of Denton; sons, Larry Coble and wife Carol of Seagrove, J. C. Coble and wife Vickie of Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 148 Drum St., Asheboro with Rev. Roger Price officiating.
