Otho Lee Shepard

Otho Lee Shepard, age 54, of 653 NC Hwy 731W, Mt. Gilead died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy. Mr. Shepard was born August 25, 1955 in Montgomery County, NC, the son of Gum and Rosie (Johnson) Shepard. He is survived by his wife: Janice Bowles Shepard of the home; three daughters: Casey Deaton of Crossville, TN, Andrea Shepard of Candor, Carrie Shepard of Durham; step-son: Thomas Sisk of FL; two sisters: Sarah Shepard Howell and Nancy Marie Locklear, both of Pekin; three brothers: Hal Douglas Shepard, Curtis William Shepard and David Joseph Shepard, all of Pekin. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9-10:45 am at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home.
