Orelia Morris

Orelia Robinson Morris, age 90, of Troy died Friday, January 19, 2018 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living, Candor.

Mrs. Morris was born October 4, 1927 at Jackson Springs, NC the daughter of the late John Presley Robinson and Fetna Smith.

She was employed as Assistant Clerk to the Clerk of Courts in Montgomery County for 41 years. She was a past member of the Troy Women's Club and member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son: Mike Morris and wife, Melinda of Jackson Springs, NC; one grandson, John Michael Morris, Jr; sister-in-law, Marie Robinson of Jackson Springs, NC. She was predeceased by husband Leonard Ray Morris.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 2:45 PM at First Baptist Church, 401 E. Main St., Troy, NC. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jeffery Hartman and Rev. Raleigh Castelloe, officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation for all the care and compassion shown by her friend Lois McCaskill during the past few years.
