Onnie Hurley Callicutt, age 85, of 6763 Randall Hurley Rd., Troy died Friday, December 12, 2008 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church, Horseshoe Bend Rd., Troy with Rev. Robert Freeman and Rev. Charles Apple officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Mrs. Callicutt was a native of Montgomery County, was formerly employed with B.B. Walker Shoe Company and was retired from Wescare Childcare in Troy. She was a member of Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church and was the widow of George Callicutt. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth R. Callicutt and Donald Callicutt, both of Troy, NC;daughters, Joy C. Hawkins of Chase City, VA, Judy C. West of Richmond, VA; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Melvia Hurley, Ruth Scott, Maxilee Callicutt and Doris Shaw all of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Arthur Hurley, Clyatte Hurley, J.T. Hurley, David Hurley all of Asheboro, NC and Dempsey Hurley of Wilmington, NC.The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:00PM at the church.Memorials may be made to the Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church, c/o Elaine Richardson, 6548 Maple Springs Rd., Seagrove, NC 27341.Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro is in charge of arrangements.
