Ogreeta Stella Sutton

Ogreeta Thompson Sutton, age 100, of Asheboro died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Sutton was born April 7, 1912 in Roanoke Rapids to William and Jenny Bain Thompson. She grew up in Hamlet and was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lee Sutton and son, Jim Sutton. Mrs. Sutton loved westerns, both books and movies and was a New York Yankees fan. She is survived by her daughter, Judy S. Hale and her husband Leon of Asheboro; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
