Noreen Bunting Cagle

Noreen Bunting Cagle, age 80, of Asheboro died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Mrs. Cagle was born in Asheboro on August 1, 1932 to Charlie Allen and Eula Morgan Bunting. She was a member of Balfour Baptist Church. Noreen was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed doing crafts. Noreen was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Noreen was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fred Cagle, Jr. and brother Bill Bunting. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara C. Yates and her husband Tim of Asheboro; sons, Bryan Cagle and his wife Melinda of Randleman, Charles Boyd Cagle and his wife Janet of Asheboro; grandchildren, Garrett Yates and his wife Amanda of Morrisville, Ellery Hogan and her husband Jerome of Asheboro, Marisa Kelly and her husband J.D. of Hoover, AL, Jennifer Gilmore and her husband Patrick of Level Cross, Jessica Fox and her husband Jason of Asheboro; great granddaughter, Emery P. Gilmore of Level Cross; and sisters, JoAnn York and her husband Johnny of Randleman, and Pam Smith and her husband Doug of Asheboro. The family would like to express a special thank you to Noreen's caregivers, Nicole Hunt, Therese Ching, Ellery Yates Hogan, Carolyn Martin, Madeline Ching, and Tresia Gordon.
