Nora Gertrude Trogdon

Trudy Alberty Trogdon, age 77, of Franklinville died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Trogdon was born October 15, 1937 the daughter of Howard and Mattie Hayes Alberty. Trudy was a native of Guilford County and formerly employed with Burlington Socks. She was a member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Trudy is preceded in death by her daughter Betsy Forbes. She is survived by her husband: Dalton E. Trogdon of the home; daughters: Teresa Heilbrun and husband Chris of Statesville, NC, Cynthia Laughlin and her husband Jessie of Franklinville; sons: Dalton "Dal" Trogdon, Jr. of Franklinville, and Bobby Trogdon of Franklinville; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville with Rev. Nathan Snyder officiating.
