Nella Fae Lowe Cox, age 83, of 1972 Old Humble Mill Road, Asheboro died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Cox was born July 26, 1925 the daughter of William Albert and Nola Campbell Lowe. Mrs. Cox was a native of Iredell County and a homemaker. She was an active member of Bethel Friends Meeting, a charter member of Randolph Arts Guild and a member of Asheboro Woman's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Lantford Emmitt Cox, and her brother: Rex Lowe. She is survived by : son Lantford E. (Lanny) Cox of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife, Richard L. (Ricky) and Sarah C. Cox of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife, Leslie D. and Robin J. Cox of Asheboro, NC; Grandsons: Richard L. Cox, Jr. Robert A. Cox; David W. Cox; David A. Cox; Michael S. Cox all of Asheboro, NC.The family will receive friends Monday, May 11, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Bethel Friends Meeting, 2519 Bethel Friends Road, Asheboro with Rev. Leslie N. Winslow and Rev. Terry Kersey officiating.
