Nathan "Tank" Henry Hall
7/12/1968 – 06/08/2015
Passed away Monday afternoon following a 5 ½ month battle to recovery since a car accident on 12/29/2014.
Nathan is preceded in death by his father Jessie Hall, whom he referred to as his best friend.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Greer Hall, of his home in Sophia, NC; His fiancé, Frankie Routh Ingold, of the home they shared in Randleman, NC; His daughters, Samantha and Nikki Hall, both of Trinity, NC; His brother, Jessie Hall, Jr. and wife Pamela, and four sisters, Pat Lindsey and husband Ernest, Audrey Morrison and husband Frank, Karen Fay Holdaway and husband Dale, and Robin Johnson and husband Ken.
Frankie's children, whom he loved and treated as his own, John, Liz, Kenzie, and Joe Ingold.
The latest light of his world, granddaughter, Naomi Elizabeth Ingold, whom adored her "Paw Paw Nate Nate".
Eight nieces and nephews and sixteen great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his huge family he had another family filled with friends, some of which he referred to as bothers and sisters that are too many to name but certainly not forgotten.
Nathan was loved and respected by all who knew him, constantly referred to as a "Good Man". He touched many lives in many ways. He was a loving daddy, a faithful son, a true friend, and the love of Frankie's life. He loved to fish, hunt, ride motorcycles, and take care of those he loved. A foreman and chief technician at Ilderton Dodge for 20+ years, he had the knowledge to fix anything and make any motor run.
He leaves his fiancé, family, and friends with many unfinished dreams that we know he would want to carry on. One of these was his own love of learning and the strong belief in higher education. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Randolph Community College Foundation, Nathan Hall Memorial Scholarship, at 629 Industrial Park Ave. Asheboro, NC, 27205 or www.randolphccfoundation.org.
Visitation with family and friends will be at Pugh Funeral Home in Randleman, NC on Friday evening, June 12, 2015, from 6-8pm
A Memorial Service and celebration of Nathan's life will be on June 13, 2015, at 11am, also at Pugh Funeral Home in Randleman, officiated by Reverand Cory Tysinger, followed by a brief intermission and then a ride to the family cemetery in Willis Gap, VA.
