Nathan Amos Hunt, Jr.

ASHEBORO--Nathan Amos Hunt, Jr., age 82, of 400 Vision Dr., Asheboro died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Randolph Hospice House. A private committal service was held at Hopewell Friends Meeting Cemetery, 2244 Hopewell Friends Road, Asheboro on Friday, April 5, 2013 with Hoyt Russell officiating. Mr. Hunt was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, born on April 16, 1930 to Nathan Amos and Cora Luck Hunt. Nathan loved bluegrass music, cooking, gardening, and camping at the beach and mountains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Vera Pugh Hunt and daughter Juanita Smith. He is survived by son, Larry Hunt and his wife Vicki of Burlington, NC; and brother, David Lee Hunt of Sophia, NC. Pugh Funeral Home has the honor of assisting the Hunt Family.
