Nancy Brown Saunders

Nancy Brown Saunders, age 71, of Asheboro died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Saunders was born June 16, 1942 in Randolph County, NC the daughter of the late Joseph and Mattie Brady Brown. She was retired from Black & Decker in Asheboro and a member of Shady Grove Christian Church where she was secretary and pianist. Nancy loved her children, grandchildren and the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Saunders. She is survived by daughter, Angie S Freeman and husband Jeff of Randleman, NC; step son, Jimmy Saunders and wife Leanne of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Courtney Freeman, Jordan Freeman, Autumn Saunders and Cory Saunders; special nieces and nephew, Marie Brown and husband Bob, Joan Cheek and husband David, Russell Brady and wife Sherry. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 12 noon - 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2:00 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Jimmy C. Shirlen and Rev. Jeff Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
