Nancy Pugh Robinson, age 92, of Asheboro passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home.
Mrs. Robinson was born in the Grays Chapel Community of Randolph County on January 29, 1924 to Edgar Lee and Lola Jones Pugh. She retired from Wells Hosiery with over 20 years of service. Nancy was a member of Central United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Louis Robinson and sisters, Ina Lee Greeson and Opal Clark.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Robinson Greene and husband Bobby of Asheboro; sons, Don Robinson and wife Diane of Hiawasseai, GA, Bruce Robinson and wife Barbara of Asheboro, Greg Robinson of Asheboro; grandchildren, Kenneth Greene of Asheboro, Krystal Hersome and husband John of Winston-Salem, Alex Robinson of Asheboro, Curtis Robinson and wife Ashley of Florida, Alyssa Brill and husband Jeremiah of Winter Haven, FL; great grandchildren, Gracie, Anthony, and Jasmine; and brother, Floyd "Buck" Pugh and wife Dixie of High Point.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Mrs. Robinsons residence and on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 11:00 AM-12:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 1:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J.F. Howard officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
