Nancy Lou Shaw Little

Nancy Lou Shaw Little, age 80, of Asheboro went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Little was born in the New Hope Community of Randolph County on April 5, 1935 to Christopher and Ila Jane King Shaw. She was retired from the textile industry after 23 years of service. She attended Landmark Independent Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Ernest John Little, son Ernest John Little, Jr. and brother Jerry Shaw. Nancy loved her family and friends and was inseparable from her Terrier companion Ruthie. She loved to cook and eat and made an excellent persimmon pudding and "had a way" with pumpkin pies. She is survived by her children, Eddie Little and wife Debbie of Asheboro, Cindy Little Shafley of Liberty, Warren Little of Asheboro; grandchildren, Christopher Little and wife Sarah of Asheboro, Kevin Little of Seagrove, Cody Little of Seagrove, Morgan Shafley of Liberty, Tina Crisco of Seagrove, Michael Sparks of Asheboro, Nichole Sparks of Asheboro; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Christopher J. Shaw of Asheboro and Jack Shaw and wife Mabel of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Barrett officiating. A private burial will be held in the Little Family Cemetery.
