Myrtle Florence Love Fox, 97, formally of 651 E. Fifth Street, left for her heavenly home on Friday, January 11, 2008 from Sunbridge of Asheboro.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 15th, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home Chapel in Siler City. Officiating will be a long-time friend Reverend Melvin Williamson and Reverend Jon Ferguson. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving, generous, and caring person to her family and friends and was loved by all. She was greatly loved by all her caregivers at Sunbridge and was said to be the most gentle and humble person they had ever met. The smile that she gave to you would warm your heart and you never left her without her telling you how much she appreciated what you had done for her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Fox, her daughter Mamie Rebecca, her sons Billy Joe Fox and Everett Jackson Fox, her parents Lawrence and Mary Jane Love, her brothers Herbert and Thurman Love, her sisters Annie Mae Love and Mary Love, sister Polly Presley, and a twin sister Mamie Black.
She is survived by her son Albert Thomas Fox and wife Norma of Asheboro, daughter Phyllis Goodson and husband Dallas of Franklinville, daughter Betty Sands and husband Leroy of Asheboro, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and eight great -great grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home Monday, January 14, 2008 from 6-8 PM.
