Mozelle H. Allred

Mozelle Hare Allred, age 83, of Asheboro died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John S. Rogers and Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Allred was born in Randolph County on June 9, 1928 to Boyd W. and Myrtle Rose Hare. She was a homemaker, and was formerly employed with Dr. John Redding, Sr. and Dr. H.M. "Mac" White, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mozelle was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Allred and her sister Barbara Merrill. Mozelle never met a stranger. She loved her Lord, her church, her family, her grandchildren, and her friends. She is survived by her sons, Ben Allred and his wife Stephanie of Asheboro, NC and their children, Caroline Allred, Meghan Allred, Reagan Allred, Paige Allred, Matthew Allred, and Erin Allred; Eric Allred and his wife Shorna of Ithaca, NY and their children, Shannon Lee and Ericsson Allred; and sister, Clara Lee Fields and her husband Ralph of Sanford, NC.
