Mont Stewart Cox, age 76, of Asheboro died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro with his family by his side. Mr. Cox was a native of Buncombe County, NC and retired from J&S Veneer in High Point, NC. He was a member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church. Mont enjoyed fishing and collecting items. He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Ann Trotter Cox; daughter: Denise and husband Richard Schoenberger of Asheboro, NC, special daughter: Denise and husband Wayne Brewer of Asheboro, NC, Ashley and husband Brandon Ellis of Ramseur, NC Sister-in-laws: Irene Bray and Carolyn and husband Larry Starnes of Reidsville, NC, Christine Cox of Sophia, NC; brother-in-law: Frank and wife Becky Trotter of Reidsville, NC' Grandchildren: Addie and Alec Schoenberger of Asheboro, NC, Great Grandson Braden Ellis of Ramseur, NC, Special Cousins: Jerry Southard and wife Lila, Kathy Cooper and husband Perry, Patti Southard all of Asheboro, NC. Special neighbor: Jackie and Lynn Wright. Special friends: Charles and Joyce Kinney The family will receive friends at Pugh Funeral Home , 437 Sunset Ave, Asheboro on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 6-8 pm and at other times at the home of Denise Schoenberger The funeral will be Monday November 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev.
