Monadell Byrd Glass

Monadell Byrd Glass, age 85, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Pennybyrn At Maryfield in High Point.

Mrs. Glass was born in Surry County on January 16, 1934 to Burrus and Gertie Dawson Byrd. She was a member of Balfour Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Monadell was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Glass, son, Tim Glass, granddaughter, Jill Glass, and son-in-law, David Pendry.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Glass and wife Debbie of Ramseur, Charlie Glass and wife Denise of Asheboro, and Jeff Glass and wife Terry of Asheboro; daughter, Kim Pendry of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and brothers, Ken Byrd of Asheboro and Steve Byrd of Morristown, NJ.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Wilburn officiating. Burial will be held in Randolph Memorial Park.
