Mona Louise Hoover Stout

Mona Louise Hoover Stout, age 77, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Stout was born in Asheboro on June 24, 1939 to Lee and Dora Johnson Hoover. She was formerly employed with Sew Special and was a member of Back Creek Friends Meeting. In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Stout and brother, Dempsey Hoover. She is survived by her niece, Joyce Steelman of Surfside Beach, SC; and sister-in-law, Josephine Hoover of Asheboro; and several other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery, Back Creek Church Road, Asheboro with Pastor Michael Fulp, Jr. officiating. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Stout family.
