Mona Williamson Miller

Mona Williamson Miller, age 59, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Mona was born on January 19, 1955. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling, making new friends and discovering new places. The most important thing in her life was family. She was loving, caring, and enjoyed helping others. She brought fun and joy to the lives of so many people, and those that were fortunate enough to have known her will always be a better person because of it. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Williamson and sister Kathy Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Miller; son, Todd Miller and wife Lisa of Smithfield and grandchildren, Sierra and Kyleigh; son, Jason Miller and Danielle Reddick of Park Hills, MO and grandchildren, Aiden and Natalie; sister, Diane Farrington of Asheboro; and mother, Mabel Whisenant Williamson of Asheboro The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Flag Springs United Methodist Church, 5852 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro with Rev. Barry L. Queen officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
