Mona Patterson Hill

Mona Patterson Hill, age 87, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. A private burial will be held. Mrs. Hill was born in Hoke County on May 22, 1926 to Glade and Beulah Ivey Patterson, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Franklinville, where she was active in GA's and sang in the choir. Mona was retired from United Brass Works in Randleman after 24 year of service. Mona was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Sulon C. Hill; son, Jerry S. Hill and his wife Diane of Asheboro, grandchildren, Michael Hill and his wife Brooke of Tennessee, Kristi Howell of Tennessee, Amos Routh and his wife Gail of Grays Chapel; great grandchildren, Kelsey, Josh, Wyatt, Samuel, Claire, Daisey, Michael, and Morgan; and sister, Joann Morton of Randleman. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
