Mischa Garrett Luther

Mischa Garrett Luther, age 55, of Asheboro died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mischa Garrett Luther, beloved wife and mother, was a light to all who knew her and made every place better. With a smile that always reached her eyes, she was a selfless encourager and humble servant of her Lord, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and would rather do for others than herself. Her life speaks more than these few words that are written. Mischa was raised in Liberty and was a member of High Pine Wesleyan Church where she devoted many years of service as a children's Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvis Dean Garrett.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mark Luther; daughters, Victoria Davis and husband Blake of Seagrove, Caroline Denise Luther of the home; mother, Shelvia Jean Garrett of Stokesdale; brothers, Ron Garrett and wife Audrey of Boca Raton, FL, Stephen Garrett and wife Cheryl of Liberty and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 22, 2018 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at High Pine Wesleyan Church, 4492 High Pine Church Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Wyatt Hoogkamp, Rev. Todd Leach and Rev. Doug Dennis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
