Miranda Frances Mabe

Miranda Frances Mabe, age 74, of Troy died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, Troy.

Mrs. Mabe was born March 22, 1944 in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Howard Wright and the late Bessie Singleton Wright. She was a homemaker who enjoyed Gospel music, cooking, crocheting and being with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Mabe, Sr.

She is survived by one son: Billy Mabe, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Troy, NC; one daughter: Irene Lamonds and husband Lawrence of Biscoe, NC; grandchildren: Tiffany Blake and husband Justin of Mt. Gilead, NC, Breanna Mabe of Troy, NC, R.J. Woodard of Troy, NC, and great grandson, Grayson Blake; four sisters: Marie Mabe and husband Arthur of Star, NC, Jessie Brewer of Troy, NC, Peggy Cornell and husband Eddie of Troy, NC and Ann Elder and husband Keith of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two brothers: Roy Wright and wife Norma of Star, NC and Charlie Wright of Candor, NC.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC, and at other times at the home of her daughter, Irene Lamonds. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Pugh Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 N. Main St., Troy with Rev. Nick Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery, Troy.
