Milton B. Barden

Milton B. Barden, age 71, of 131 N. Randolph Ave., Asheboro died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Randolph Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church, 300 South Main Street, Asheboro with Dr. Mark J. Key officiating. Burial will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Barden Family Farm in Farmville, NC. Mr. Barden was a native of Greenville, NC and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. He was a former teacher and coach in Delaware, Bryson City and at Eastern Randolph High School and was retired from Walker Shoe Company. He is survived by his wife, Martha Rose Hanson Barden of the home; daughter, Elizabeth Rose Taylor of the home; son, Steve B. Barden of Benson, NC; 3 grandchildren; brother, Rev. Lawrence E.
