Mildred Marley Wright

Mildred Marley Wright, age 88, of Lakes At Litchfield, Pawley's Island, SC, formerly of Asheboro, NC died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Tidelands Community Hospice, Georgetown, SC. Mrs. Wright was a native of Randolph County and a long time resident of Asheboro, NC. She was retired from Asheboro Telephone Company. She was an active member of Asheboro United Church of Christ in Asheboro, of the Republican Women of Randolph County and of the Red Hat Club. Mildred was active at Lakes of Litchfield in Pawley's Island where she lived the last two years of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bruce Webster Wright, her parents: Earl and Jessie Marley and two brothers: Claude and Corky Marley. She is survived by her sons: Frank Thomas Wright of Wilmington, NC and John Charles Wright and his wife, Suzette of Georgetown, SC and three grandchildren: Jennifer Wright; Kristen Wright and David Wright. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 12 noon-1:15 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC followed by a Graveside Service at 1:30 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road, Asheboro with Rev.
