Michael Joseph Walsh, age 57, of Thomasville died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
Mr. Walsh was born in Flushing, NY and attended Our Lady of the Highways Catholic Church in Thomasville. He was the owner of Quest Data Solutions and was formerly employed with Top Sider Homes in Clemmons, NC and Lexington Home Brands. He was a former volunteer fireman with Trumbell, Oxford, and Nichols Volunteer Fire Departments in Connecticut. He was formerly the Deputy Chief for Tabernacle Volunteer Fire Department. For the past 15 years he was in involved in marching bands and drum corps, specifically Winter Guard, which he also judged. Michael loved to play golf and watch NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jayne Boyer Walsh; daughters, Nicole Walsh of Lexington, KY, Shannon Walsh of Asheboro; sons, Joseph Walsh of Randleman, Christopher Walsh of Greenwood, IN; parents, Joseph E. and Marita V. Walsh of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Valerie Roberts of Fountain Hills, AZ, Erica Danek of St.Augustine, FL, Jenny Bodo of Denton, TX, Karin Lewis of Shelton, CT; brother, Chris Walsh of Stratford, CT; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private celebration of life service was held with his family.
