Michael Todd Lewis

Michael Todd Lewis, age 39, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, after a courageous fight with Covid 19.  

Michael was born in Albemarle, NC on July 15, 1982 to Timothy Noel and Rosa Thompson Lewis.  He was a 2000 graduate of West Montgomery High School.  He is an Assistant Manager for Walmart in Biscoe and has worked there for the past six years.  Michael was a wonderful son, brother, husband, and "girl dad" as he called himself.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, shooting guns, and playing video games in his free time.  Michael was a people person, even as a child he never met a stranger.

He and his wife Elizabeth married March 11th of 2017, and in 2018 came Emma and in 2021 came Scarlett.

Michael is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Fletcher Lewis; his two daughters: Emma Noel Lewis and Scarlett Clay Lewis; his parents: Tim and Rosa Lewis; brother: Brad Alvin Lewis (Jamie); and nephew: Elijah Cole Lewis.  He was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents: Billie J. & Eula Hamilton Thompson and Paternal grandparents: Ernest T. and Ola Burroughs Lewis.  

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove Christian Church, 2491 Okeeweemee Rd., Star, NC 27356 with the Rev. Flynn Richardson and the Rev. Allen Mashburn officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
