Michael Anthony Jones

Michael Anthony "Mike" Jones, age 59, of 349 Chestnut St., Asheboro died Friday, September 13, 2013 at 349 Chestnut St., Asheboro. Mr. Jones was born May 26, 1954 the son of Donald and Joan Neveldine Jones. Mike was a native of Syracuse, NY and a Naval Veteran. He worked as an electrician for several companies over the years, most recently for Starr Electric. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching sermons from Dr. Charles Stanley. He is survived by his wife: Brenda Scott Jones; one daughter: Jessica Lynn Jones of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren: Micah, Adly and Eric; four brothers: Jim Jones and Dave Jones of NY, Steve Jones and Andy Jones of AZ, and sister-in-law, Patty Hancock of Asheboro, NC The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Wayne Eller officiating.
