Michael Lawrence "Mickey" Johnson, age 53, of 606 Cascade Ave., Asheboro died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:30 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Auler officiating. Burial follow in Oaklawn Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mickey was a native of Randolph County, was a U.S. Army veteran, and was a member of AMVETS Post 905. He was formerly employed with Diesel Mechanics in Greensboro. He is survived by his son, Nick Johnson and his mother Joanie of Jonesville, SC; mother and step father, Patty and Roger Coble of Whitsett, NC; sisters, Linda Overman and her husband Eddie of Asheboro, NC; Sherri Dudley and her husband Greg of Whitsett, NC and his loving companion, Kitty. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 1:00-2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
