Metta Hartley

Metta Robbins Hall Hartley, age 92, of Sophia died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Hartley was born May 15, 1924 the daughter of Carson and Lillian Canoy Robbins. Metta was retired from Randolph County Sheriff Department and a member of Sophia Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Metta is preceded in death by her husbands, Pearly Howard Hall and Spencer Jack Hartley; sister, Selma Sheffield; brothers, Kyle and Hobert Robbins. She is survived by her son: Philip Hall and wife Pam of Randleman; daughter: Delta Evans and husband Kenneth of Randleman; grandchildren: Kristy Peele (Dennis) of Archdale, Karen Evans, Tracy Harrell (Jeremy), Tyler Hall (Haven), Tiffany Crosier (Chad) all of Randleman and Trent Hall of Raleigh; great grandchildren: Logan and Rylie Allred, Karson and Maggie Harrell, Ava Crozier, Grayson, Mollie and Lanie Hall all of Randleman; sisters: Mona Albretch (Don) of Topeka, Kansas, Mildred Robbins of Asheboro; special sister-in-law, Lucille Waynick; half-brother: Joel Robbins of Asheboro; special niece, Donna Hoover of Sophia. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sophia Christian Church, 5747 U.S. 311, Sophia, NC and other times at the home of Philip Hall, 3141 WOW Rd., Randleman. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 with Pastor Rick Yow officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. The family would like to extend a "Special Thank You" to the dedicated caregivers, Misty, Mary, Terri, Jeanette, Tommie and Christi that showed exceptional care and compassion to Metta.
