Merry Lee Lent Burnham, age 60, of 5613 Ridge Rd., Seagrove died Friday, April 11, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. She was a native of Cortland NY, a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and was employed with Randolph Hospital. Merry was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann Welch; her father, Lewis S. Lent and step-father, Alfred G. Wood. She is survived by her husband: Tim Burnham, sons: T. J. Burnham of Seagrove, NC, and Theodore R. Welch of Deland, FL; daughter: Wendy S. Ellis of Deland, FL; mother: Lois V. Wood of Seagrove, NC; sisters: Sandra Woodard of Seagrove, NC, Sally Saunders of Seagrove, NC, Jacqueline Lovell of Montour Falls, NY; brothers: Lewis Lent of Bridgewater, MA, George Wood of Newfield, NY, Mark Wood of Burdett, NY The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
