Melissa Ann Branson

Melissa Ann "Missy" Branson, age 44, of 824 Walker Country Lane, Asheboro, died Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Randolph Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Allen, son Cody and daughter Tiffany, of the home; her parents Charles and Joyce Queen of Asheboro; her sisters, Beverly (Scott) Davis of Connell, WA and Sandra (Todd) Weegmann of Lakewood, WA; several nieces and nephews. Missy was a loving mother to Cody and Tiffany and a wonderful wife to Allen. She was an avid homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family and home. Missy was a member of Sawyersville Wesleyan Church. The services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church, 157 Sawyersville Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Jeff Garner and Rev. Darrell Rabon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro and other times at her home.
