Megan Barker Gutierrez, age 26, of 1402 Adams Farm Parkway, Apt. 4, Greensboro and formerly of Asheboro died Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anna Allred and Rev. Barry Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Megan was a native of Charleston, WV. She was a 2003 graduate of Asheboro High School and a 2010 graduate of GTCC. Megan was formerly employed with Cornerstone Healthcare. She is survived by her son, Brighton Lucas Gutierrez; parents, Valerie and Lyn White of Asheboro, NC; father, Mike Barker and his wife Debbie of Cross Lanes, WV; sister, Michelle "Tate" Barker of Portland, OR; brother, Michael Barker of Charlotte, NC; half sisters, Wendy Caldwell and her husband Greg of Kannapolis, NC, Ashley Barker of Cross Lanes, WV; maternal grandfather, Finley Seldomridge of St. Albans, WV; and paternal grandmother, Betty Barker of Madison, WV. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
