McPherson "Mack" Hays Moore

McPherson "Mack" Hays Moore, III, age 88, of Randleman died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mack Moore was born November 17, 1929 the son of McPherson and Danford Woods Moore, Jr. Mack was a native of Hemphill, West VA. and served in the US Army and US Air Force serving in both WWII and Korean War. He was formerly employed as a truck driver for Woodruff Transport Company in High Point. In addition to his parents McPherson is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years: Mary Elizabeth Lamb Moore of the home; daughters: Louise Stanley of Sophia, Donna Camp of Sophia, and Joan Moore of OH.;sons: Anthony Reynolds of Randleman, Donnie Reynolds of Randleman, Darrell "Gene" Reynolds of Kernersville, and Ronald Moore of Raleigh; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren;sister: Faye Thompson of MD.;brother: Obie Moore of VA.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of his daughter, Donna Camp, 2696 Sawyer Rd, Sophia, NC 27350.. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Torri Nelson officiating. Randolph County Honor Guard will be performing military rites.
