Mazie Claudean Gray

Mazie Claudean Anderson Gray, age 80, of Randleman died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Wesley Long Community Hospital in Greensboro.Mrs. Gray was a native of Randolph County and retired from Wee Sox Hoisery. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Randleman, Upper Room Sunday School Class, Best Years Fellowship Group, and Meal Group who cooked meals for bereavement families of the church. Claudean is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Emma Martha Anderson, sister, Lucille Anderson Holleman and Brother Garney Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Edwin Gray, Sr., daughter: Vicki Gray of Randleman and son: Edwin R. Gray, Jr. of Cotati, CA.; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.The family will receive friends Monday, September 7, 2009 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street in Randleman. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 2:00 PM at First Wesleyan Church, 125 Tabernacle St. in Randleman with Rev. Don Hurlburt , Pastor Mark Welborn and Rev. Dana Bunn officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
