Max Ray Caudill

Max Ray Caudill, age 78, of Asheboro died Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mr. Caudill was born September 10, 1939 the son of Ray and Marie Auman Caudill.

Mr. Caudill was a native of Montgomery County and of Methodist Faith. He was a graduate of Seagrove High School and took automotive classes at Randolph Technical Institute. Max retired from NAPA as a parts salesman. He loved the outdoors and going to the beach. Max enjoyed attending and supporting his grandsons in all their sporting events.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Scruggs Caudill; daughters and their husbands: Lori and Mark Johnson, Angi and Rob Polito, Andi and Mark Johnson all of Asheboro; two grandsons: Austin Johnson and Luke Johnson; siblings: Mae Caudill Auman of Asheboro, Roy (Ann) Caudill of Asheboro, , Gene (Elaine) Caudill of Snow Camp, Carl (Martha) Caudill of Asheboro, and Sarah (Ricky) Cox of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC 27203, and other times at times at the home of Mark and Lori Johnson, 892 Rockcliff Terrance, Asheboro.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church, 4215 New Hope Church Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Joe Needham and Rev. Michael Trogdon officiating.

Burial will be in Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5852 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro.
