Maude Irene Nelson

Maude Irene Laughlin Nelson, age 85, of 401 E. Naomi St., Randleman died Monday, January 5, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Nelson was born March 4, 1923 the daughter of Samson and Dreusella (Harvell) Laughlin. Mrs. Nelson was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker. She attended First Wesleyan Church her whole life were she was a member of the "Home Department". Mrs. Nelson is preceded in death by her husband, Allen F. Nelson. She is survived by one daughter: Janice Nelson Haffly of San Antonio, TX and two sons: Allen Nelson of the home and Paul Nelson of Staley, NC. 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Friday, January 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Don Hurlburt and Rev. Alvin Newcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Country Holiness Cemetery, Randleman.
