Matthew Carson Poole

Matthew Carson Poole, age 27, of 2311 Old Lexington Road, Asheboro died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Poole was a native of Randolph County and graduated from Asheboro High School where he was awarded the Richard Thomas Howell Achievement Award. Matthew attended Sunset Church of God Church. He enjoyed playing computer games, card games and collecting cards, swords and carnival glass. Matthew was preceded in death by his two grandfathers: Gilbert Cooper and Linley Poole. He loved and was loved by everyone he met. He was generous and cared much for his family and friends. He is survived by his parents: Barry and Pam Cooper Poole, of the home, sister: Leah Poole of Asheboro; grandmothers: Ruby Cooper and Janie Poole both of Asheboro and great grandmother: Alberta Poole of Greensboro. The family will receive friends Monday, May 21, 2012 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 2225 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC. The funeral service will held at 1:00 PM at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 2225 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
