Mary Louise Simonds Wright

Mary Louise Simonds Wright, age 76, of 400 Vision Drive, Asheboro died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Wright was born July 1, 1935 in Bryson City, NC the daughter of William Poise and Myrtle Edna Owenby Simonds. She was a homemaker and a member of True Light Worship Center in Sophia. Mrs. Wright had been active in the Asheboro Moose Lodge and was preceded in death by her husband: William Garfield Wright. She is survived by three daughters: Libby Wright; Margaret Snider; Anna Hearth all of Asheboro, NC; and four sons: Bill Wright of Lexington, NC; Don Wright of Portland, OR; Ronnie Wright of Sophia, NC; Robert Wright of Asheboro, NC; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 10:00-11:00AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with Rev. Larry Ferree officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
